Book a driving lesson in Asker

A driving lesson is practical driver training with an experienced instructor. At Elevens in Asker, we offer driving lessons of 45, 60 or 90 minutes. We usually drive 90 or 45 minutes – the topic and area determine the length. You practise driving skills, road safety and prepare for the driving test. Our instructors know the Asker area well, including roads around Borgen, Vettre and Heggedal.

The number of driving lessons varies from person to person. The Norwegian average is about 15–25 lessons with a driving school, in addition to practice driving with a companion. At Elevens in Asker, our instructors assess your level and provide personal guidance. With good practice at home, you can often reduce the number of lessons.

All driver training is structured in 45-minute sessions, just like regular school lessons. For the best learning, we recommend varying the length: 45 minutes is suitable for regular sessions and technical practice, 60 minutes gives more continuity and time for depth, and 90 minutes is recommended for demanding topics or areas like city driving in Sandvika/Drammen. Your instructor will help you choose the right length for each session.

For students under 25, the basic traffic course (TGK) is mandatory before you can start practice driving. If you haven't taken TGK yet, we recommend starting there first. At Elevens in Asker, we offer complete TGK courses – check our calendar for available dates.

Yes, we offer flexible driving times that fit around work, school and other commitments. You can book driving lessons during the day and evening. A small additional fee applies for times after 4:00 PM.

No, Elevens Trafikkskole provides modern training cars with dual controls for all driving lessons and the driving test. Driving schools are required to have dual controls so the instructor can intervene if needed. Want to practise privately as well? You don't need dual controls for that, but the companion must be at least 25 years old and have held a licence for at least 5 consecutive years. The car must display an L-plate.

Yes, you can cancel or change a driving lesson. Cancellation must be made within the deadline to avoid a fee – check the confirmation you receive for details. Contact us in Asker if you have questions about cancellation.
