The load securing course is mandatory for a trailer licence (BE and B96), and in the Asker area this is especially relevant. Many people here tow a boat to Holmen marina, a caravan to a cabin in Buskerud, or transport building materials from Nesbru. On our course at Borgen, you learn to secure cargo according to regulations, important both for your own safety and for other road users on E18.
The course is held at our branch at Drammensveien 880 in Borgen and lasts 90 minutes. We have a spacious area for practical exercises with a trailer. Easily accessible from Asker centre, Vettre and Heggedal, with free parking right outside.
You learn practical securing with straps, chains and nets, not just theory. We focus on situations you will actually encounter: securing heavy equipment, correct placement of cargo, and what happens during sudden braking on E18 or Slemmestadveien. After the course, you can load a trailer safely without worry.
Yes, the load securing course is mandatory for both BE and B96. You cannot take the practical driving test for a trailer licence without completing it. In Asker, we offer it regularly. You can find available times in our calendar. Many students take the course early in their training.
